Biography
Dr. Malek Mohammad earned his Ph.D. in English from Texas A&M University in 2010. He taught writing and literature courses in Texas (USA), and in 2012 he joined the English Department at the American University of Kuwait. His book Dignity and Power: Biopolitics in Literature and Philosophy came out in 2024. As Associate Professor since 2024, he has taught writing, world literature, and literary theory & criticism, among many other literature courses. His research interests include modern Anglophone literature, ethics, human rights, biopolitics, and conspiracy theory.
