Biography
Dr. Hussain Alsarraf is an Associate Professor of Physics in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the American University of Kuwait (AUK). He received his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA. His research focuses on atmospheric physics, numerical weather prediction, regional climate modeling, satellite observations, and climate change in arid and semi-arid regions. Dr. Alsarraf has published extensively in leading international journals, regularly presents his research at international conferences, and he is a member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU).
