Abrar Ali Aljamaan

Dr. Abrar Aljamaan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the American University of Kuwait (AUK), where she also serves as Chair of the Office of Teaching Excellence. She holds a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from City St George's, University of London, where her research focused on computational astrophysical fluid dynamics and magnetohydrodynamics. Her current research interests center on artificial intelligence in education, mathematics education, educational technology, and digital transformation. She has served as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on multiple funded research projects supported by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and AUK, including projects investigating AI-assisted learning in mathematics and digital transformation in the public sector. Her work aims to leverage emerging technologies to enhance student learning, engagement, and educational outcomes. Dr. Aljamaan is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS), a member of the European Astronomical Society (EAS), and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). She has presented her research at national and international conferences and actively contributes to the scholarly community through research collaboration, peer review, academic service, and faculty development initiatives.
